Downloading and Opening your eBook.

Step One:  

Click here to ensure your computer has Java installed.

Step Two:  

Download the eBook file from the LINK AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE to your Desktop.
Important: Always choose the SAVE option.

Be sure to save the file to your DESKTOP, or note where your downloads are saved.

Firefox browsers default your download to the "Downloads" folder on your computer...look for your download there and move to desktop.)

 

   
Step Three:  

Double-click this icon on your Desktop to register and open your eBook.

This is a very simple process and takes longer to read this than do it.

Double-Click on the icon above on your desktop

 

 

 

Choose your preferred language from the drop-dopwn box and Simply Click the "Continue"

 

 

 

 

 

This will open the second download window, pictured on the right. Enter your name and email address as shown in the highlighted yellow boxes.

NOTE: Use the same email address you used to buy the book

 

 

 

 

Click "Get License Code" on the bottom right hand corner indicated by the arrow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your license code should automatically appear in the highlighted box on the bottom left.

 

 

 

 Click "I accept the terms"

 

 

 

 

You're all done!

Trouble-Shooting Assistance

Solving Problems with Java

Problem:
The downloaded product file appears to be a ZIP file and the registration screen does not appear.

Solution:
According to Sun Microsystems, this is a problem affecting a small percentage of Windows users. Fortunately, there is an easy fix, simply download and run the JarFix.exe file from the link below. This will fix the Windows problem.

After running the JarFix.exe utility, you can double-click the product file you have downloaded to open and register the file on your computer.


Problem:
Unable to open the file.

Solution:
Your computer may not have Java installed. Click the link below to update Java on your computer:

Problem:
I am not able to install Java or I receive an error installing or updating Java.

Solution:
This problem is solved by clearing the browser cache. To clean (delete) the Java cache, click the link below:

Solving Problems in Windows

After downloading the product file, the security settings in Windows 7 or Windows Vista require you to right-click on the file and choose to "Run as Administrator" before the program will open and allow you to register the product.


Problem:

 Download “hangs” (downloads endlessly)

Solution

Terminate the download, close your browser and clear the “cache” files. (Temporary files) Re-open your browser, and try downloading again. This should solve the problem.


Problem:

File won’t open, or opens in another browser and continues downloading:

Solution:

This usually happens with Windows Vista/Windows 7: RIGHT-CLICK the icon, then choose “Run as administrator” from the sub-menu. It will then ask permission to open the file. Click yes. It should open normally.
